EXECUTIVE MBA TIME REQUIREMENT
Class sessions meet three consecutive days a month, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Students in the Executive MBA program will take between 18-24 months to complete the program. All courses are limited to 20 executives per class, taught in English, using a blend of case studies, hands-on exercises, discussions, work groups, and practice in public speaking.
2 INTERNATIONAL STUDY TRIPS, included in Program
Whether working for a multi-national enterprise, collaborating across multi-cultural teams, performing international business development or sales, operating within a global value chain, or vetting a new foreign client or business partner, executives today must be prepared to navigate within an increasingly interconnected world, where a nuanced approached to doing business is crucial. Such preparation can be fostered in an academic setting through experiential learning in a global context. AUI's EMBA program offers such experiential learning through international study trips.
There are two, one-week required international residencies during the program where Executive MBA students travel to AUI's partner schools in the USA and Sub-Saharan Africa. These international immersion experiences are multi-faceted: they provide an opportunity for students to take 1-2 EMBA courses in each location with top international faculty, to meet with C-suite executives during company visits to local enterprises, to network with local MBA students and to immerse themselves within a new cultural business experience.
